Northern Ireland Approved Driving Instructors Association
website.
We deal in facts, not rumours
Dear Fellow Professional,
Thank you for logging on to the NIADIA website.
We are the longest established Association in Northern Ireland that represents our profession province wide. There are many changes taking place in our industry and NIADIA are committed to keeping our members informed and preparing them for any future developments. NIADIA officially meet with the Driving Vehicle Agency (DVA) twice a year, to discuss proposed changes and to voice the concerns of our members on a professional level.
As an organisation, we are committed to reducing the carnage on our roads by promoting driver education and road safety. We want to actively promote the unique and important role that ADIs have in imparting safe driving skills for life.
This website has been set up as an access point for our members, and an information site for anybody interested in road safety. It can also be used by members of the public to find approved driving instructors in their area. Anyone listed on this website are members of NIADIA. The website address is niadia.info. All ADIs can now avail of our free advertising by following www.learner-ni.com
Can I also remind you that we hold committee meetings on the first Monday of every month. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you have a query or a problem which you would like us to help you with, please contact us.
May I take this opportunity to wish you a safe and successful year ahead.

Chairperson
Our Purpose:
Our purpose is to be the collective voice of Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) in Northern Ireland.
Professionally representing their views to all concerned in driver education and road safety, to maintain and enhance the unique and important role of ADIs who impart driving skills for life.
Our Aims:
To be recognised by the Driver and vehicle Agency (DVA) as the primary voice of ADIs in Northern Ireland.
To ensure that Driving Instruction is accredited with the image and respect it merits as a profession.
To actively contribute to a reduction in road accidents in Northern Ireland.
Many changes are taking place in our profession and there are more to come. In many cases ADIs have been unprepared for these changes through lack of information. However NIADIA has kept its members informed and has worked very hard to promote ADIs on a more professional basis, especially to the DVA with whom NIADIA meet four times a year.
A code of conduct has been introduced and our annual conference is a key event for information and networking between all those involved in driver education and road safety. Moreover, we can now provide training on issues relevant to ADIs.
We have a strong base from which to develop our profession, and to promote the often underestimated importance of the ADI.
Our impact in your chosen career, depends upon a united front being presented to the DVA, and a collective promotion with our role to the general public. To do that we need your support Why not join with us so that we can shape our future rather than react to decisions made by others.
